Julie Tenner's Bio:

Julie Tenner, The Pleasure Nutritionist and co-founder of Nourishing the Mother and mother of three is a Naturopath, specialising in women’s health, Birth Coach and Mothering Mentor on a mission to reconnect women to their pleasure and nourish so much more than just their bodies.
Beyond the nutrient impact of food
Frustrated with the paradigm of health and nutrition which sees women berate themselves for breaking their ‘food rules’, Julie’s approach looks beyond the nutrient impact of food to look at our beliefs, conditioning and uncover what it is that truly moves us as women, giving us to permission to receive, nourish and inspire – creating a ripple effect in our families and out into our communities.
When women say “yes” to themselves, they pave the way for those around them. When women awaken their sensuality, when they feel deliciously connected to who they are, when pleasure becomes part of them, not separate to them – they become a beacon for desire and magnificence.
For over a decade Julie has helped women reconnect to their magnificence – because relationships, health, birth and motherhood can be a luscious love affair.

Damian Kristof’s Bio:

I’ve been in the health industry now for more than 20 years in many different capacities. As a Naturopath, Nutritionist and Chiropractor I have enjoyed helping thousands of people regain health and vitality through natural approaches. I am continually excited and delighted by the life changes that people experience when they start to trust in their own ability to heal without excessive intervention.
Educate and inspire people
My path through health has been exciting and varied, and at the same time very challenging and rewarding. I love the ability to interact on a one on one basis daily with my practice members and at the same time, I love the ability to educate and inspire people to change through multi media including Radio (Melbourne’s Triple M), TV (Downsize Me, Inside New Zealand, Brian and Bobby, The Exchange) Podcasting (The Wellness Guys and 100 Not Out) and of course in a seminar setting with The Power Of Food and Crack Your Stress Code events. My belief is that both the nervous system and the gastro-intestinal system are both equally influential in the health and longevity of the individual, this is why I love chiropractic (as it deals with the nervous system) and I developed Forage Cereal (to assist the restoration of impeccable health to the gastrointestinal system).
Having combined the philosophies of both Naturopathic and Chiropractic approaches to healing and well-being – I believe that people learn and achieve the most when there is no interference and there is appropriate supply of goodness to allow the body to thrive.

CAST 046 Aware Parenting
We often forget that our parenting skills are constantly a work in progress. Our own cultures or our childhood experiences and those of our partner all have an impact on how we will raise our children. Whilst there is no one way for everyone, there are certainly some methods that honour the child and the child’s needs more than others.
This was a fabulous episode where Chris and I discus the aware parent, based on principles from Aletha Solter’s famous book “the aware baby”. She certainly has the wisdom and experience to help many parents and offers so much sounds advice on the interview.
Enjoy
X Dr Kaz Jaffe
Chris Muller’s Bio:

Chris Muller, MSc, is a passionate Psychologist and Aware Parenting instructor in The Netherlands. From a young age Chris was interested in the dynamics between parents and children. So what started as a hobby, later became her studies and finally her job. She has helped hundreds of parents gain a deeper understanding of their children through her workshops, course, articles and through 1-on-1 support.
Deeper understanding
Its her passion to help parents and other caretakers experience more joy and connection with their children and with themselves. Therefore she offers alternatives for time-outs, rewards or sleep training.
Instead she offers a deeper understanding of why our children and babies behave a certain way and offers tools on how we can truly connect with them, so we are able to lighten our parenting struggles.
The methods she uses are practical and light, as well as profound. She helps parents change their struggles into joy, by teaching communication tools and playfulness, but also at times by a transformation in ourselves.

CAST 022 Insights from a Naturopath Mum
It was so lovely to have Edwina share her insights. A mum of 4 a Naturopath and a recent graduate of The Changing Habits Course, Edwina had so much to share on our interview.
X Dr Kaz Jaffe
Edwina Murphy-Drumer's Bio:

Prior to starting Eudaimonia, I spent 15 years as a mother to four beautiful kids, 7 of those years being a solo gig. But to take a leap even further back, I had only recently graduated as a Naturopath when my first bub arrived. Needless to say I didn’t get much of a chance to grow my business as a naturopath because inside the next three and a half years I managed to pop out another two mighty fine human specimens. Number four came along four years later …. sheesh that was a big gap!! However all these lovely little people certainly proved to be mighty fine human guinea pigs in my endeavour to produce flourishing humans.
Knight in shining armour
Throughout this time, despite all my knowledge and best efforts I struggled to flourish. I was at times 20 kgs overweight, and constantly tired. Whilst this certainly bothered me, I always had a great excuse ….. Big build (Ha) ……. Mother of four ….. Single mother …… normal life challenges …… ra ra ra ……
I knew there had to be a solution. I became determined to find it. Excitingly, two things happened. (1) Knight in shining armour! (2) An inspiring woman!
(1) Knight in shining armour! Short version of an absolute fairytale……. I was totally set up by mutual friends to meet a lovely South African man whilst he holidayed in Australia. Had 3 days together. Fell madly in love. Man left country. Skype went into melt down. 1 year later Man came back. This woman HAPPY! Oh yeah baby! Happy = Healthy
(2) I tapped into the awesome inspiration that is Cyndi O’Meara. It was through her that I eventually stumbled upon her 4 Phase Fat Elimination Diet….. finally I was equipped with a tool to help me work out what foods really worked for me and what didn’t. Finally my health took a massive leap in a positive direction.
In February of 2015 Cyndi released the Changing Habits Education Course, and you can bet that I was numero uno in line to sign up. This was the golden ticket I needed, in order to re-engage my confidence, and to share my passion for Nutritional Medicine with the world. So head down bum up, I worked my but off and was super thrilled in December of 2015, to be one of only 15 Inaugural Graduate from this wonderful course.
So it was with a combination of life experience and dedicated study that I started Eudaimonia as an avenue to share my passion with those that want it.
